Chimper #2814
Two sets of chopsticks, one secret recipe, and a single, unbreakable vow to never hold a blade again. Hanazato made that promise in a downpour, watching their last knife clatter into a gutter on the outskirts of Waterfall City. Its gleam was swallowed by the churning water, and with it, a life of silent contracts and shadowed alleys. They were meant to be a ghost, a night-walker who left no trace, but the life was too loud in their soul. They chose a new noise: the chatter of the city plaza and the sizzle of a hot pan. Yet hands trained for stealth now fumble with ladles, often resulting in spilt ramen. It's a clumsiness born of relearning how to live. Their most frequent customer is Tamago, who shares in their quiet vigil. Together they wait, one for a primordial egg to hatch, the other to see if a new life can truly take root.
