Chimper #2965
Every morning, Mansuko traces the veins of the single leaf tucked behind their ear, a foolish ritual in a place where things only come to die. But the leaf is from beforeโbefore the power woke up. Itโs a wild, uncontrollable energy, much like the force that torments Akurai, and it kept Mansuko moving through The Underworld, a solitary figure whose stoic face was a mask for terror. Then they met a quiet traveler who saw the sparks that leapt from their fingertips and didn't flinch. This person didn't offer a cure; they simply learned to read the storm. Mansuko still wanders, but no longer alone. Their companion walks a few paces away, a silent promise that should the storm break, they will be there to help gather the pieces.
