Chimper #3357
A constant, chilly dampness seeped through Nozoa's favorite vest, a feeling theyโd come to associate with their business partner. In the grand Teikodian Empire, where even the cobblestones were polished, being perpetually covered in undead slime was a distinct commercial disadvantage. They say Nozoa shares the trick of Sakkaku: an impulsive curiosity for forbidden things. For Sakkaku, it was a mushroom. For Nozoa, it was a suspiciously cheap 'glowing fungus' from a dungeon vendor, guaranteed to 'illuminate their path to fortune.' It did not. It did, however, attach itself to their cheek. The slime, which Nozoa begrudgingly calls 'Goo,' is a terrible negotiator but an excellent, if gurgling, lantern stand. 'Not our target demographic,' Nozoa will sigh, giving Goo a reassuring pat after another sale is lost.
