Muiri

The Navigator of Needless Detours, some call them, though mostly it's just Muiri calling themself that. Their grand rivalry with Sutaraito is a constant topic of conversation, primarily with Mr. Quack, the rubber duck who serves as their steadfast guide. While Sutaraito charts courses by starlight, Muiri navigates by interpretive squeak. Their last competition, a race through the gilded capital of The Teikodian Empire, was typical. Sutaraito planned a route of elegant efficiency. Muiri took a wrong turn chasing a butterfly and stumbled into an Imperial kitchen, accidentally discovering a faster route through the palace larders. They emerged near the finish line, covered in flour and blissfully unaware of their genius, clutching a stolen meat bun. Sutaraito just sighed, smiling. It was hard to compete with chaos.
