Chimper #707
Without fail, Bungorou begins their day at the bottom of Waterfall City, where the mist from the falls clings to everything. The guards in the pale stone temple above saw them as little more than a delivery service. Bungorou ran messages, ferried goods, and navigated the treacherous rock stairs connecting the fishing huts to the main plaza. They were fast, silent, and invisibleโtraits dismissed in a runner but vital in a warrior. When raiders bypassed the main gates by river, the cityโs defenders were cut off. But Bungorou knew other paths. They slipped past enemy lines, coordinating the defense from the shadows. The tactical gear is new, a sign of respect from those who once mocked them, but they kept the name. They are the Courier, a reminder that the most vital protector is often the one you never see coming.
