Yoshiichi is a model of Teikodian composure, known for their patient and meticulous work in the imperial archives. This calm is a cage. Years ago, while cataloging forbidden texts, they stumbled into a hidden laboratory just as an alchemical agent, smelling of forbidden mushrooms and ozone, breached its containment. The exposure didn't physically transform them like it did Sakkaku, but it fractured something inside. One moment, they are a quiet scholar; the next, a silent, white-hot fury consumes them, an uncontrollable force that has left dents in plasteel walls. They wear the glasses not for sight, but to focus, to ground themself in the here and now, away from the memory of that cold, sterile room in The Teikodian Empire. Every neatly stacked scroll is a prayer against the chaos they keep locked within.
