Chimper #1083
Kugari was an excellent listener. Most Chimps in Waterfall City were too busy shouting over the roar of the falls, but Kugari found their peace with a quieter crowd: the frogs. Being undead tended to make others uneasy, but the cityโs amphibious locals didnโt seem to care. They would hop onto Kugari's shoulders, drawn to the gentle warmth of their rock chakra. The patch over their eye was a gift from a bullfrog whose lily pad theyโd rescued from drifting away. Instead of shaping monoliths for battle, Kugari used their power to craft perfectly smooth, sun-warmed stones along the riverbankโideal napping spots for their friends. They might not remember the life they lost, but a chorus of happy croaks was a fine replacement for a pulse.
