They first heard the tale of Sourukipa in the lower markets of Waterfall City, a story of a solemn quest into the dark for a sword of reincarnation. While others heard a tragedy, Chikaze heard an adventure. They decided then that such a noble purpose deserved its own guardian, a chronicler to keep its spirit alive in the Overworld. They don't walk the same grim path, but follow its echo, ensuring the legend never dies. Sometimes this means clearing a trail for other seekers, other times it means simply sharing the tale with a young frog-fisher, making a heavy burden sound like the grandest of songs.
